It would be excellent to have the functionality show emails headers in the timeline view with a a deep link to the gmail email. This is similar to what clay.earth has and makes profiles much richer.

Kevin Sun: Sure! I envision going to a contact's profile and seeing a section that shows each date that they were contacted on. For instance, I could see that I emailed John Doe on 2/13 and then called him on 2/15.

Finally (for now), it would be great to be able to check your gmail by group. Take, for example, I have a group called "highschool buddies". I should be able to go to that group, click "show emails from this group" and it would then filter your gmail inbox to include only emails to or from or to and from the people in that group

You should also be able to click something on the Dex contact, something like "show emails" and it would then jump over to gmail and automatically show all emails to or from this person (configurability to also toggle to show emails on which the person was cc'd would be good too). This can be done, I imagine, with gmail's API or a "clickbot" similar to what is performed when y'all scrape linkedin contacts.

when you are in your gmail, if a given email address is detected to be in your contacts list on Dex, there should be a way to "star" emails such that when you go to view a contact on Dex, you can see all the past emails from that person that you starred.
