Smart keep-in-touch frequencies

It can feel somewhat superficial to group contacts in the groups as they are, especially as relationships change over time. I think it would be extremely useful if the keep-in-touch frequencies of different contacts was based on the frequency of interactions logged in the timeline, perhaps an average of the intervals between all interactions with the contact?
