I would appreciate to have an option to add label to Address field (similar like for email or phone). I need to be able to distinquish between work, home, old etc…
Another label to add to address field is "Place of Origin". Very useful for the expat community. But one thing:
"Address" forces you to be specific (street level), which is very hard. You know someone is originally from Portland, but you don't know their address nor you care.
"Location" can be broad (city level) but it only tells you where they are currently.
I want to know where a person is originally from, and where they are currently without having to know their specific address

I recently found that (i think) because Dex doesn't specify home address, when it syncs with my contacts my Apple contacts no longer identify my address as my "home" address, so when I use Maps to find directions "Home" it will ask me to update my contact info with the home address. I've since turned off the Dex address sync to see if that at least makes my home address stick for a while.

Google contacts has these fields and they're pretty handy. Especially with remote work when a company may be in CA but my contact actually lives in TX.
