This has been added - the extension is back on the Chrome Web Store. It was rebuilt to clear the policy issue, and you can install it again from there.
LinkedIn support was deliberately left out of the rebuilt extension out of respect for LinkedIn's terms. LinkedIn sync now runs through the desktop or mobile app instead.

@Max Genkin-Nasreddin you can force it to work if you go to manage your extensions. For now, I did ask @CJ if we should have any concerns for the future. Let me know if it worked!
