Don't send multiple keep in touch emails

Right now if I set a contact to stay in touch with for every 6 months for example, then I get a first email to stay in touch which is correct.

But then if I don't mark the person as having connected with them again, then I get another reminder email 7 days later!

I only want one reminder email every 6 months, and no extra ones if I don't mark as having stayed in touch with them.
