Don't override a title change in a contact

Some people have long and random titles in their LinkedIn. I write the short version in their profile in Dex. When Dex syncs with LinkedIn, it overrides my change with the title again.
I don't want that to happen. If I override, it should stick that way. Maybe, you can show "my version" and the current version in LinkedIn, just in case it's updated.

    A similar thing was happening to me with the Location field. For those I know better, I like to put a district of their home or office block. So instead of having all 200 connections in the same city, my connections are spread out throughout the streets of the city.

    When I click Enhance Contact, the location field is overwritten by LinkedIn.

    For me, a workaround is to put their specific in the “Add Address…” field. That works for me.

    Maybe you could find another field that’s not synced with LinkedIn so you can put your title?

    You can already create a custom field. And I expect that in the properties of a view, you can choose to display the custom field.

    Would it work for you, Javier?

    Sometimes people change specialization, become team leads, or move from Manual → Automation QA, or start offering AI services. Other users and I would like to see their latest title.
