Company page/section
Automatically generate a page per company where it appears your contacts, you can add location and also notes, and you can sort it. Ideally you can see the notes grouped of your contacts and they general notes will apear om your notes contacts too -useful if you want to put a reminder about a company but you have multiple points of contact

We sell by company, so am aggregated company view of contacts and other data would be great.

yes that would be good. Even better if company and contact could be linked and displayes in the same way as location and contact

+1 companies should be separate entities that we can edit. It would also be great to be able to add past companies.

A lot of CRM's include companies and contacts as separate entities, where companies can contain contacts, but main company information is all created/maintained/updated in one place. Then the list of companies could either be a drop-down or type-ahead field (where when you start typing, it will show matches to the letters already typed).
Of course it needs to be just as easy to add a new company - and once the company is entered/selected, to be able to click on a link/button next to that company to go enter or edit the overall company information as well.
(I know this is trending toward another feature request, so I'll add that the ultimate solution would be to enable users to view/edit entries in either contacts or companies separately, but this doesn't have to be in the first iteration of the features either.)

I know Dex intends to position itself as a relationship manager, but without having companies in there too it misses on the opportunity to also get customers who value that data. It's kind of a dealbreaker for me. Not knowing who are connected to companies I need to track makes this just a hobby project rather than being a serious contender to the other alternatives. Add this feature and I'm sure you bump up the amount of people rather using Dex than other headcrunching CRM's.

I really need this!! I need a place to aggregate notes at the company level, especially since points of contact can cycle out, change departments, or leave the company.

Yes, definitely useful, as contacts may move between companies when "under our radar" but companies likely remain relevant in the industry.

This feature is practically a necessity for a CRM. Relationships exist across different kinds of entities, not just people. Allowing other types of records, like Company records, builds in the connectivity Dex really needs to have that goes above the person:person connection.
