Birthday should not duplicate existing birthday on Google Contacts

A lot of my google contacts already have a birthday listed, which automatically pulls into Google calendar. When Dex adds the "Dex Contacts" version of the contact the duplicate birthday field also pulls into Google calendar. The net result is every contact's birthday shows up twice in my calendar
