Auto-Tag New Contacts from Specific Inbox (Rule-Based Tagging)

Details:

Currently, when new contacts are ingested from a connected inbox, they must be manually tagged one-by-one if the user wants them categorized (e.g., by source, workflow, or relationship type).

For users who are constantly making new connections at work, manual tagging creates unnecessary friction.

Requested improvement:

• Allow users to define a rule such as:

  • “All new contacts from this inbox → auto-apply Tag X”

• Support one-time tagging for first-time imports

• Optionally allow multiple tag rules per inbox

• Eliminates repetitive manual tagging

• Keeps contact organization scalable

• Supports high-volume networking workflows
