Adding multiple people to a group
I would like to add multiple people to a group at the same time. I tried selecting multiple tic boxes from the Contacts middle pane, and then adding a group. The group was not added to all those selected. This would be nice when importing many contacts and having to sort them all out.

I had a similar problem today. I was trying to add multiple contacts to a yet-to-be-created group. I ticked off all 27 group members in my Contacts list, but then the "Add to Group" wouldn't do anything when I clicked it. I ended up creating the new group under the Groups menu and doing a group import from there.
Not sure what the issue was, but reloading my Contacts page fixed it - after reloading, clicking on "Add to Group" supported a multi-select with no trouble.

This can be deleted. I was doing this wrong. Tic the boxes in the People view. The Edit button is revealed. Select groups. Choose your group. Sit back and enjoy a beverage of choice for what a fine job you've done.
