This is a significant issue and like others maybe a deal killer with Dex. I think the audience for Dex runs multiple calendars, at least for personal and work, and only being able to link google primary means Dex doesn't know about the rest of my updates and activity. Seems like this should be a fast and simple fix since it's already working with google. Just need to be able to select additional calendars.

I have the same problem, and this is a deal killer. Right now, only the primary calendar is synced. But I have organized my appointments in multiple calendars in Google. As a result, I cannot see all the works in Dex.

Don't understand this actually - you mean it currently doesn't sync across multiple calendars at present?
