Requested again via support. The use case is a contact record that carries the name someone actually goes by alongside their formal name, so search and display both work off what the user would recognise. The same request also asked for a middle name field, which does not exist today either.

Crazy to me that this isn't implemented. Really need to be able to put in nicknames and maiden names to make the search function more useful.

This should be an easy one. We just need another field. So many contacts who we want to be in touch have a nickname !
