ability to send group bulk mails

currently it seems (talking to CJ from support via mail) that when using email template you can only send to ONE email contact when using the template. I want to send to a group of contacts. Obviously, some basic analytics would be great (you sent 40 emails, 10 bounced and need your attention because something's wrong with the email address, etc)
